Don’t we all love to win prizes?! In an arcade, we earn tickets to buy something awesome, but how do we know how many tickets we’ve won? In this video, we practice addition and subtraction skills in real-life scenarios that are relatable for students. We first identify which operation to use, and then set up the problem in a place value chart using the ones and tens place. Students learn the necessary steps to solving two-digit addition and subtraction problems, including regrouping, and have fun buying prizes along the way!
