Hopscotch, counting our jumps

On three everyone say, HOPSCOTCH. One, two, three.... Early math skills begin with real life experiences and kinesthetic learning. Whether it is clapping or jumping, singing or dancing, counting starts with a basic understanding of one-to-one correspondence. This video teaches how to designate one number for one movement. From there, students are ready to move on to counting items one at a time. 3, 2, 1, GO!
