Once upon a time: the setting of a story

What would happen if Little Red Riding Hood never walked through the woods? Or if the Three Bears never left the house where Goldilocks ate the porridge? Or if the Big Bad Wolf was already inside the little pig's house? The setting of a story is so important! In this video, students are introduced to the setting: where and when a story takes place. We learn that setting affects a story and how the setting can change. Thankfully, the setting changes in the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf; let us in the house made of bricks!
