Sometimes numbers can be confusing, why does number 11 have two 1s next to each other? How do we know what that means? Join us in this video as we explain digits and place value. Digits are any single number, 0-9. When we get to bigger numbers, like 15, we call them 2-digit numbers. Those digits are in different places: the 1 is in the tens place, and the 5 is in the ones place. Number 15 is one group of ten, and 5 ones. Don't let that tricky number 11 fool you, just use your mighty place value chart!
