Solving problems with graphs

What kind of pet do you have? Where do you go on vacation? In this lesson, we learn how to read data on a pictograph and a bar graph. Part of reading a graph means understanding the parts of the graph, such as the key or axis labels. In this lesson, we use graphs to answer questions about data: do people own more dogs or more cats? Which school subject do people like most? We also review adding strategies to find answers quickly.
