When you think of "volume", your mind might jump automatically to liquids. But we know that volume is the amount of "space" inside a 3D shape, and that means there are lots of examples of volume in the real world! In this lesson, we'll look at some problems involving the space inside a freezer, cubes fitting inside a shipping container, and the amount of dirt it takes to fill up a garden bed, to name a few! Put your thinking caps on, and join us as we explore volume!
