So many ways to sort – words in categories

What do a bee, tiger, and zebra all have in common? Find out in this video as we extend our mighty sorting skills! There are so many ways to categorize items, and sometimes we all choose a different trait to sort by. In this lesson, students learn to categorize the same items in multiple ways and find the "odd one out". Classifying, categorizing, and sorting are excellent skills for students to develop at a young age. They help students see patterns, search for multiple answers, and justify their reasoning. Hooray for multiple right answers!
